Two people treated for smoke inhalation after fire in Hamilton Mountain home

Two people are being treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out a home on Hamilton Mountain Saturday morning.

Fire crews were called for a structure fire in the basement of a home on Royal Vista Drive, just off Upper Gage Avenue, around 10:20 a.m. after a dryer caught fire.

Crews quickly extinguished the fire and are clearing smoke from the home, the Hamilton Fire Department said on Twitter.
