Police looking for two men who robbed Tim Hortons

Hamilton police are appealing to the public for help in identifying two suspects involved in a robbery at a Mountain Tim Hortons.

Police say shortly after 5 a.m. on Tuesday July 24, two men were at the Tim Hortons at 1368 Upper Gage Ave. One went inside the store and demanded money from the staff while the other waited outside the doors.

Both men then fled northbound on Upper Gage on foot.

One man is described as white, 25 to 30 years old and being 5 ft 2 in to 5 ft 7 in. tall. He has a thin build, light coloured facial hair, and was wearing a Blue Jays baseball cap, a light grey T-shirt with the writing “Be the green guy” on the back, long black shorts with a white decal on the right leg, white socks, black and white running shoes. He also had a blue-grey towel partially covering his face.

The other man is described as white, in the same age group and height range. He has a medium to heavy build, a brown goatee beard, and was wearing a black T-shirt with a white decal on the right arm, black shorts with a white strip down each leg, black running shoes with white soles. He was smoking a cigarette at the time.
