Brantford Mosque vandalized with hateful graffiti

Brantford police are searching for two suspects after anti-Muslim vanadlism on a mosque that is being investigated as a hate crime.

The two suspects were captured on surveillence at the Brantford Mosque, 192 Greenwich St., around 2:20 a.m. Sunday.

Police alleged they spraypainted the hateful remarks and symbols directed at members of the religion on walls and the parking lot.

The suspects appear to be young males, with an average height and slim build, police said.

Both wore long pants with hoodies and carried backpacks. One had a picture of a bull head on the front of his hoodie.

Brantford police said they are “taking this incident very seriously,” and are hoping people come forward to help identify the suspects.
